Refused My Fraud Claim – Credit Card Lost with License = Fraud Usage I have been disputing “fraud charges” since June 2008 with BOA & they are impossible to deal with. I have filed formal complaints with the Federal Trade Commission
and the Comptroller of Currency with no success as of Feb 2009. My credit card was lost with my driver’s license in June 2008 and I was unaware that I left them both in a local restaurant.

I received an email alert from BOA 1 day later advising me that “they detected irregular credit card activity: on my account. When I called the BOA Fraud Dept, I was tole they would issue me a new card & that I would not be liable for fraud charges at all. They said 100% Fraud Liability Free!! Well, I was rejected for my fraud claim and they said I was costing them too much $$$ with the account since I had a prior Fraud Claim which I was aware of but it was due to the fact that my card was lost in the mail and used by someone else. As of Feb 2009, I am waiting for copies of the “FRAUD CHARGES” from BOA so I can prove to them my signature was forged. I told them in writing to the Executive Dept, that I will not pay them a dime over what I didn’t charge. The account is on my files as past due & will remain. I don’t care if the account is charged off either.

By the time it legally come off the files, I will be 67yrs old. I send them a payment after I die.
