How to Report Violations

These new laws are actually an amendment to the Truth in Lending Act. So it’s the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) that enforces these laws. If you believe your card issuer has violated some aspect of this act, you should report them to the FTC. The company could be fined up to $5,000 per violation.
